OPPO Reno 8T receives TDRA certification, launch seems imminent

OPPO Reno 8T has received approval from the TDRA (Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority) certification platform. The listing reveals that the device has the CPH2481 model number.

Before appearing on TDRA, the CPH2481 device has been on other certification sites, such as TKDN (Indonesia), EEC (Europe), SIRM (Malaysia), and Element Materials Technology. Since it has also been certified by the BIS authority, it appears that it will also be released in India in the coming days. With multiple certifications under the belt, it appears that it will not take too long for the OPPO Reno 8T to go official in different markets.

Unfortunately, nothing much is known about the OPPO Reno 8T. The device’s Elements Materials and Technology listing revealed that it would support 33 W fast charging.

The Reno 8 series available in India includes two models, such as the Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro. Both models are priced at Rs 29,999 and Rs 45,999, respectively. The Reno 8 duo supports 80W fast charging. Since the Reno 8T is expected to support 33W fast charging, it appears that it will be positioned under the Reno 8. Hence, there is a possibility that the 8T could be priced well under Rs 25,000.

In related news, OPPO has recently launched the Reno 8 Pro House of the Dragon limited-edition model in India. Priced at Rs 45,999, it offers the same specs as the regular 8 Pro. However, it comes in a customised box, which includes several goodies like a Dragon Egg collectable, Dragon SIM ejector pin, Dragon emblem phone holder, Targaryen Sigil keychain, and a handwritten seal of approval. As far as the handset is concerned, the special edition model comes with a leather back with a House Targaryen badge on the centre.
