OPPO Reno 9 Pro+ and OPPO A98 (aka OPPO A1 Pro 5G) have appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking site. According to rumours, the OPPO A98 will be available in China as early as next week, while the Reno 9 series will be available by the end of November. The Geekbench appearance of both devices indicates that the company could be testing the performance of these devices before the official announcement.
The OPPO PGW110 and PHQ110 phones that have surfaced on Geekbench appear to be the Reno 9 Pro+ and A98. Readers should be aware of the fact that A98 is a tentative name. A recent leak suggested that the device may be called the OPPO A1 Pro 5G when it comes out.

The CPU information mentioned in the Geekbench listing of the alleged Reno 9 Pro+ suggests that it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. However, multiple sources have claimed that the Reno 9 Pro+ will feature the faster Snapdragon 8 Plus chip. Moving ahead, the listing also reveals that the device is equipped with 16GB of RAM and Android 12 OS, which will have the latest ColorOS 13 on top. The device scored 1043 and 3685 in the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench 5, respectively.

According to reports, the OPPO Reno 9 Pro+ will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with curved edges and a punch-hole in the top centre. It will offer an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colours, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. The device’s chipset will be coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It will pack a 4,700mAh battery with 80W charging support. It will house a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 front camera and an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel (Sony IMX890) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit.

The OPPO A1 Pro 5G Geekbench listing suggests that it is powered by the Snapdragon 695 chipset. It further reveals that it has 8GB of RAM and Android 13. The A1 Pro scored 687 and 2066 points on Geekbench 5, respectively.

It will have a 108-megapixel primary camera on the back and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. It will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The Android 13 OS on the device will be overlaid with ColorOS 13.
