Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO has just announced a price cut on the cheapest device in the Reno2 lineup, the Reno2 F in India. This is the second price cut for the smartphone within the last six months. The OPPO Reno2 F launched in India back in August 2019 at Rs 25,990. The handset soon received a discount worth Rs 2,000 in November the same year, effectively bringing down the price to Rs 23,990. Taking the latest reduction into account, the OPPO Reno2 F is now available at Rs 21,990 on OPPO’s official website and Amazon India.
OPPO Reno2 F specifications and features
The OPPO Reno2 F features a 6.5-inch AMOLED display, sporting a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, a screen-to-body ratio of 91.1 percent, and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The display of the phone is integrated with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P70 chipset under the hood along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The Reno2 F flaunts a quad rear camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel portrait sensor. An LED flash module completes the setup. The smartphone has a 16-megapixel sensor on the front, housed within a motorised pop-up module. Powering the OPPO Reno2 F is a 4,000mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charge support. The smartphone runs the Android 9.0 Pie-based ColorOS 6.1. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB-C and 3.5mm audio connector. The OPPO Reno2 F is available in Sky White, Lake Blue and Lake Green colour variants.
