OPPO launched the flagship Reno3 and the Reno3 Pro in China back in December 2019. While the 5G variant of the Reno3 Pro made its global debut last week, the Reno3 is not yet available outside of China. However, that could change very soon. In a recent teaser clip posted on its official Facebook page, OPPO exhibited the Aurora blue variant of the Reno3 with the caption “Launching on 16th March!” Although the official specifications of the global version are yet to be revealed, a few key features have already leaked over the internet.
According to the teaser, the Reno3 sports a waterdrop notch on the front housing a single selfie camera. The device features slim bezels along with a thin chin at the bottom. At the rear, there is a quad-camera module with an LED flash unit. The Reno3 is scheduled to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner.

At the front, the OPPO Reno3 would feature a 6.4-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. At the rear, you can expect a quad-camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary lens, a 13-megapixel telephoto sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel mono lens. The camera module would be arranged in a vertical layout and include an LED flash unit. The smartphone is speculated to sport a front-facing camera of 44-megapixel.
The OPPO Reno3 could be powered by MediaTek Helio P90. The Chinese edition of the smartphone has Dimensity 1000L chipset, a 32-megapixel front-facing camera and a 48-megapixel main sensor on the rear.
The SoC could be coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device is likely to house a 4,025mAh battery with 30W fast charge support.. The Reno3 will come preinstalled with Android 10-based ColorOS 7. The device is expected to come in three colour options, including Midnight Black, Sky White, and Aurora Blue. The handset reportedly measures 160.2 x 73.3 x 8mm and weighs 170 grams.
