The OPPO Reno6 Z 5G is a new phone in the OPPO Reno6 series. The phone has been spotted on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification, confirming its name and model number CPH2237. In addition, the same phone has been listed on the SGS Fimko certification website. However this listing doesn’t reveal any details about the device except its model number.

The OPPO Reno6 Z 5G will succeed last year’s OPPO Reno5 Z 5G, which featured a Dimensity 800U chipset. No other details about the smartphone are available at the moment.

OPPO Reno6 series specifications and features

The OPPO Reno6 series was initially expected to include three smartphones – the OPPO Reno6, Reno6 Pro and Reno6 Pro+. The phones are expected to launch in China on May 22nd. The OPPO Reno6 is expected to be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset. It is likely to feature a 6.43-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 4,200mAh battery, 65W fast charging support and Android 11. Leaked images of the device have revealed that it will sport a flat frame like the iPhone 12 series and a punch-hole display.

As for the Reno6 Pro and Pro+, the phones are expected to feature 6.55-inch displays with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, dual cell battery (total capacity of 4,500mAh), 65W fast charging, 30W wireless charging, quad rear cameras and Android 11. The Reno6 Pro is expected to feature the Dimensity 1200 SoC, while the Reno6 Pro+ could be powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset. Both phones could offer up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.

It’s unclear if OPPO will also launch the Reno6 Z 5G with these phones, or announce it at a later date.
