OPPO Watch 3 series has been launched in China. It includes a regular and Pro variant. The latest smartwatches from the brand arrive as the successor to the last year’s Watch 2 series.
The OPPO Watch 3 series are the first wearable devices to come with Qualcomm’s Wear 5 processor which was announced last month. Both the Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro are premium offerings, however, the latter is a more premium variant among the two.
OPPO Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro specifications and features
The OPPO Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro come with a square dial. The former features a 1.75-inch AMOLED screen whereas the latter has a 1.91-inch full-curved flexible display. The Pro variant is the world’s first smartwatch with LTPO display technology that supports dynamic frame rates. Both smartwatch models are layered with a 3D glass cover and are water-resistant up to 5 meters.
On the health-centric front, the OPPO Watch 3 series is equipped with a heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, sleep and stress tracker. Both variants also come with an accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, ambient light sensor, and altimeter. The Pro variant also features an ECG sensor. Both smartwatches support up to 100 workout modes.
Internally, the OPPO Watch 3 duo houses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 5 Gen 1 processor. It is paired with OPPO’s Ap]ollo 4 SoC. Both wearable devices pack 1GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage. Connectivity options on the smartwatches include eSIM, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and GPS.
The OPPO Watch 3 is backed by a 400mAh battery unit and is claimed to offer 4 days of usage on a full charge. The Pro variant is powered by a 550mAh cell that is claimed to deliver 5 days of usage on a single charge.
OPPO Watch 3 series pricing and availability
The OPPO Watch 3 is offered in a Vitron strap and a leather option priced at RMB 1499 (Rs. 17,650) and RMB 1,999 (~Rs 18.830). The same options of the Pro model are priced at RMB 1899 (Rs. 22,360) and RMB 1999 (Rs. 23,537).
