Consumer electronics brand Orient Electric has announced a smart ceiling fan in India dubbed as the Aeroslim. The company claims that the Aeroslim is India’s first and the world’s slimmest smart ceiling fan.
Design-wise, the Aeroslim has a cylindrical shape with an integrated LED underlight. It features PU paint with a hydrographic finish to blend in with your home interiors. The fan has a sweep of 1200mm and a 100 percent rust-free blade made of high-grade glass. This ensures durability to the blades and makes them bend-proof, rust-proof and easy to clean. There is a telescopic adjustable mounting for both traditional and modern ceilings. For ease of use, the Aeroslim smart ceiling fan comes with a remote.
The Aeroslim is an IoT-enabled ceiling fan which gives the user freedom to manage various features remotely. One can control the fan speed, modes, reverse rotation, and even the underlight with dimming options via the Orient Smart mobile app. The fan can also be controlled via Alexa and Google Assistant voice controls. Performance-wise, this ceiling fan is equipped with an inverter motor that consumes 45-watts of electricity. Orient Electric claims this ensures 40 percent energy savings as compared to ordinary fans. The Aeroslim fan offers an air delivery of 240 CMM, and operates silently at low voltages of up to 140V.
As for the pricing, the Orient Aeroslim smart ceiling fan is priced at Rs 7,790 and is available for purchase from retail stores across India in Champagne Brown and Marble White hues.
