The mid-week of March 2023 seems to be quite a busy one, especially for cinema buffs, as several popular films and series are releasing this week, giving you more things to Binge. Besides the sports tournaments and leagues, fans will be able to enjoy new releases on several OTT platforms, and there’s something in every genre.
Dwayne Johnson’s film Black Adam which received a mixed response from the audience, will finally stream on Prime Video. Besides this, the second season of the popular show Dom will also stream on the OTT platform, making it busy for the subscribers of this OTT platform.
On the regional language front, Dhanush’s popular multilingual film, Vaathi (Sir in Telugu) will be streaming on Netflix. Meanwhile, users on Zee5 can enjoy critically acclaimed Telugu-language release, Writer Padmabhushan, and Bengali series Seven. Telugu content lovers will also have Aha Original – Saathi Gaani Rendu Ekaralu – on their list to watch, while the ones on SunNxt can watch the popular Malayalam movie Once Upon a Time in Jamaaligudda.

Kuttey
Written and directed by Aasmaan Bharadwaj, Kuttey is an action comedy about a heist. The official premise, as shared by the makers, says, “A van carrying crores of cash. One rainy night on the outskirts of Mumbai. Unaware of each other, three stray gangs cross paths on the hunt. Unfortunately, all of them have the same plan. Will they bite the bone, or will they lose to greed?”

Black Adam

Vaathi (Sir)
Considered to be one of the popular releases of the year, Vaathi (Sir in Telugu) revolves around the 1990s, when Thirupathi, the owner of private colleges, takes over some government colleges and transfers some of his faculty members to them. Thirupathi knows that his faculty members are not competent to teach students but aims to eliminate public institutions of intermediate college education and funnel students into his private institutions. However, Balamurugan, a qualified teacher, foils Thirupathi’s plans by helping the students at Sozhavaram government college achieve excellent results. Thirupathi becomes furious upon hearing this news and challenges Balamurugan, also known as Bala Gangadhar Tilak, to prepare the students to secure TNPCEE ranks. Balu accepts the challenge and starts coaching the students.

Writer Padmabhushan
