Panasonic has launched a new range of air conditioners that can reportedly provide automatic temperature regulation, remote access and other smart features. The connected ACs in this range are IoT-enabled and are split offerings with inverter compressors. Speaking at the launch, Gaurav Sah, Business Head of Air Conditioning Group at Panasonic India, said, “Our exclusive consumer insight study tells us that Indian consumers seek enhanced product experience that can make daily life chores easier and efficient, and 81 percent are willing to pay a bit extra for connected features. In line with our strategy to democratise technology, we are offering our new connected range at the same price point as the conventional split
Panasonic connected ACs: specifications and features
The latest range of ACs by Panasonic function with the help of the AI-enabled Miraie App. The brand also claims that the range provides purified air thanks to the presence of Nanoe-G technology that eradicates bacteria and PM 2.5 particles, among other micropollutants. The customised sleep mode feature lets users pre-set temperature profiles while allowing them to create different profiles for weekdays and weekends.
The Auto-Diagnosis feature of the range purportedly detects problems beforehand and alerts the user about it. Through the Miraie App, consumers can place a service request, while the Best Mode recommendation helps users know the optimum settings for a particular situation and weather conditions. The app can command switch on/off and change temperature, mode and speed. The platform allows users to manage e-warranties and receive notifications about service requests and turn on/off based on location. Voice assistants like Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa can also be used to access these offerings.

The Panasonic Connected ACs are the first product to be launched with Miraie integration and more appliances are to follow. The price of this range starts from Rs 35,990.
