Japanese consumer technology brand Panasonic has launched another smartphone in India dubbed as Eluga I2 Activ. The phone comes in two different variants of RAM – 1GB RAM priced at Rs 7,190 and 2GB RAM priced at Rs 7,990. The phone is available in three colour options – Gold, Rose Gold and Grey.
Coming to the specs, the Panasonic Eluga I2 Activ sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. In the heart lies a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor beating at 1.25GHz. Furthermore, the phone gets 1GB/2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage further expandable up to 128GB. The smartphone runs the latest Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Panasonic Eluga I2 Activ is a Dual SIM smartphone and also extends support for 4G VoLTE. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, Micro-USB port with OTG support, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. For shutterbugs, the smartphone puts on an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. The device measures 143×71.2×7.95mm and weighs 133 grams. Powering all, there’s a 2200mAh non-removable battery packed inside the body. The phone, however, lacks a fingerprint scanner which is common these days at the given price.
Earlier this month, Panasonic launched two new smartphones in India dubbed as Eluga A3 and Eluga A3 Pro. The Eluga A3 carries a price tag of Rs 11,290 whereas the Eluga A3 Pro is priced at Rs 12,790. The phones also come with a virtual assistant Arbo which uses machine learning to provide intelligent suggestions to the users. It also keeps evolving learning from the user’s usage pattern and behaviour.
