Panasonic India today expanded its line of Eluga smartphones with a couple of new handsets called Eluga Pulse and Eluga Pulse X. Both the smartphones flaunt a metal unibody design and colour options like Silver and Gold. The Panasonic Eluga Pulse is priced at Rs 9,690 whereas the Eluga Pulse X costs Rs 10,999. Both of them will go on sale starting next week.

Panasonic Eluga Pulse
The Panasonic Eluga Pulse sports a 5-inch HD screen with Asahi Dragon Trail Glass protection and 296 PPI pixel density. It runs 1.25GHz quad-core processor under the hood. No exact chipset details are known just yet, though. Moving on, it houses 2GB RAM and 16GB built-in storage, expandable up to 128GB using microSD. The dual-SIM Panasonic Eluga Pulse is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
Regarding the camera, the Panasonic Eluga Pulse houses a 13MP primary camera at the rear with triple LED flash. The selfie lovers get a 5MP secondary camera up front. That aside, it also has a fingerprint scanner sitting right below the protruding camera module. The battery is of 2200mAh capacity, and some connectivity options include 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

Panasonic Eluga Pulse X
The Panasonic Eluga Pulse X, on the other side, arrives with a somewhat bigger 5.5-inch HD display featuring 267 PPI pixel density and built-in glass protection. Powering it is a 1.25GHz quad-core processor with an unknown chipset, 3GB RAM and 16GB internal memory (expandable up to 128GB). Similar to its younger sibling, the Eluga Pulse X has two SIM card slots and Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system to offer.
The Panasonic Eluga Pulse X is no different when it comes to a camera. It also sports a 13MP primary snapper with triple LED flash as well as a 5MP selfie camera. The fingerprint scanner sits at the back, right below the camera module. It packs a slightly bigger 3000mAh battery. It also comes with the standard set of connectivity options, i.e., 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
