Panasonic has launched 38 new models of washing machines in India today. Out of these, 23 are fully-automatic while the remaining 15 are semi-automatic models. The former are available in capacities of 6.2kg to 8kg, while the latter come capacities of 7kg to 10.5kg.
Panasonic washing machines: specifications and features
The fully-automatic top-load offerings come with StainMaster+ Technology which chooses suitable wash programs for removing stains. The range also houses a flexible 2-way washing technology and an in-built water heater which controls the temperature. To minimise water consumption, the range plays host to features like water re-use technology. With the Aqua Spin Rinse function, the machines save up to 28 percent water.
The Econavi function, on the other hand, reduces water wastage by 20 percent, electricity consumption by up to 20 percent and re-uses water by up to 23 percent. Additional features like the Active Foam System and Elite back panel are also included on the fully-automatic range. The semi-automatic machines come with an Active Foam System which generates foam to improve wash quality. The range also boasts of a soft closing lid for additional convenience.

Panasonic washing machines: price and availability
The fully-automatic top-load washing machines are priced between Rs 16,500 and Rs 33,200. The semi-automatic range costs between Rs 11,600 and Rs 18,500. The new range will be available at Panasonic brand shops and other leading retail outlets across the country.
