Philips has introduced a Smart Wi-Fi enabled LED bulb in India. Consumers can control the appliance via the WiZ app or Siri, Alexa and Google Assistant. The Smart LED bulb works on the WiZ technology and can be connected to Wi-Fi without requiring an additional bridge or hub, unlike the brand’s Hue bulbs.

The Smart Wi-Fi LED bulb lets users choose from numerous colour options or create special customised light settings. Users can also apply any of the preset themes according to their requirements. The bulb can also be tuned to produce the optimum shade of white light depending on the time of day. The timer and scheduling features of the bulb also help in automating the lighting. For instance, users can adjust these functions to automatically switch on the light as soon as they enter their house.
