PLAY has launched two new fitness bands in India called the PLAYFIT 21 and PLAYFIT 53. The company has recently launched its first product in the country, the PLAYFIT SW75 Smartwatch.
PLAYFIT 21 and PLAYFIT 53 fitness bands: specifications and features
The PLAYFIT 21 fitness band is being touted as a wearable for millennials. The band is equipped with a Nordic nRF52832 processor and Bluetooth v4.2. It also features a 0.96-inch TFT LCD Coloured display and an IP68 certification which shows water and dust resistance. The band also houses a Touch Button UI which can be used to access heart rate monitoring, stopwatch, pedometer and sleep monitoring. If a user presses the button for two seconds, they can get detailed statistics for the specific feature. The dial face of the band is also customisable and can be charged via USB. The fitness band also vibrates to notify SMS alerts and has retractable straps.
The PlAYFIT 53 comes with a similar chipset and display as the PLAYFIT 21 fitness band. Additionally, it features a dual-tone colour scheme and premium finish. The display is made with 2.5D curved glass and using the full Touch UI, users can scroll through multiple features such as notifications or training mode. The sleep monitor function of the band can be accessed via the Playfit app and the wearable is water and dust resistant as well. It is also capable of sensing hand gestures. When a user flicks their wrists, the band can click a picture on a connected phone.
PLAYFIT 21 and PLAYFIT 53 fitness bands: price and availability
The PLAYFIT 21 band has been launched in three colours – Black, Blue and Purple. The PLAYFIT 53 comes in two finishes – Red and Black, and Green and Black. Both the bands are available for buying on Amazon with a price of Rs 1,299 and Rs 1,999, respectively.
