POCO C3 clocks 1 million sales since launch, company announces special discount

Earlier this month, Xiaomi sub-brand POCO permanently reduced the price of its POCO C3 4GB + 64GB variant by Rs 500. The smartphone debuted in the country last October under sub-Rs 10k price tag.

Now the company has announced that the POCO C3 has achieved 1 million sales, four months after its launch. The device is also one of the top three best-selling phones online in India. It features a 5,000mAh battery unit, triple cameras and an Helio G35 SoC.

To mark the achievement, POCO is offering the POCO C3 at a discounted price of Rs 500 on Flipkart from January 20th till 24th. The 3GB + 32GB variant that retails at Rs 7,499 is available for Rs 6,999 while the 4GB + 64GB option that costs Rs 8,499 can be purchased at Rs 7,999. With bank offers, both models can be purchased at further discounted price of Rs 6,299 and Rs 7,199 respectively.

POCO C3 specifications and features

The POCO C3 offers a 6.53-inch LCD display bearing an HD+ resolution with a waterdrop notch and 400 nits brightness. The smartphone comes with a square camera module that houses a 13MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens. It features a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies.

The POCO C3 houses an Helio G35 processor under the hood. It is coupled with up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card slot. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 10W charging.

The POCO C3 runs on Android 10 with MIUI 12 on the top. The device offers connectivity options like dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, micro USB and 3.5mm jack. However, it lacks a fingerprint scanner.
