POCO C50 India launch has been confirmed. The moniker reveals that it will be arriving as the successor to the POCO C40, which went official in the global market in June this year. POCO did not release the C40 in India. The POCO C31, which debuted in September 2021, is the last C-series phone for the brand in the Indian market.

The company has confirmed that the POCO C50 will debut in the last week of November. It has yet to reveal the specifications or features of the device. According to rumours, the C50 could be a rebranded version of an existing Redmi phone.

A couple of months ago, the POCO C50 name appeared with the 220733SPI model number in the IMEI database. The device’s model number suggests that it could be a rebadged or tweaked version of the Redmi A1 Plus, which is already available in India for Rs 7,499,

The POCO C50 will feature a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a teardrop notch. It will offer an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 60Hz refresh rate. The device will run on Android 12 (Go edition). For security, it will have features like face unlock and a rear-facing fingerprint scanner.

The C50 could have a 5-megapixel front-facing camera as well as an 8-megapixel + 0.08-megapixel dual camera setup on the back. The Helio A22 chip may power the phone with 2GB / 3GB of RAM. Both variants may offer 32GB of built-in storage. It will house a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging.

POCO C50 price in India

The Redmi A1+ costs Rs 7,499 in India. It is likely that the C50 may arrive in India with similar pricing.
