Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco launched its budget flagship, the Poco F1 in August through online channels. In its bid to meet consumer demand, Poco today announced that the F1 will now be available in offline markets as well. The Poco F1 will debut in Mi Home Stores from October 13th. Customers will be able to purchase the device at Xiaomi’s offline partner stores from October 17th.
To recap on the specifications, the Poco F1 sports a 6.18-inch bezel-less Full HD+ display with a notch on the top and an 18.7:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device houses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC. It is available in two RAM configurations i.e 6GB and 8GB. The 6GB RAM variant offers two storage options i.e. 64GB and 128GB. The 8GB RAM variant offers 256GB internal memory.
As for the camera, the Poco F1 rocks a dual camera module consisting of a 12MP primary Sony IMX363 sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor. On the front, a 20MP sensor is fitted for snapping selfies. Both the cameras are powered by AI.
The Poco F1 draws its power from a 4,000mAh non-removable battery. The device runs Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI skinned on the top that. You can check the detailed specifications here.
In terms of online pricing, the base variant i.e. 6GB/64GB retails at Rs 20,999. The 6GB/128GB model costs Rs 23,999 and the higher model of 8GB/256GB carries a price tag of Rs 28,999.
A press release from Poco India states that the brand has taken added efforts to ensure that the devices will be available at an aggressive pricing close to their online prices in order to compensate for the retail operational costs. However, there is no confirmation on the offline pricing yet.
