The POCO F2 was rumoured to be launched as the rebranded Redmi K30 Pro in India, since the standard K30 debuted as the POCO X2 (first impressions) in the country. However, the company’s GM dismissed those rumours and confirmed that the upcoming POCO smartphone will be different from the Redmi K30 Pro. Now, a mysterious POCO phone has been spotted on the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) website with model number M2004J11G. It was shared by tipster Mukul Sharma on Twitter. The listing reveals Xiaomi as the manufacturer of goods. It is speculated that this smartphone could be the POCO F2, indicating its imminent arrival.

The EEC listing doesn’t reveal anything apart from the branding and the model number of the POCO phone. We expect the device to appear on other certification websites soon. Another tipster, @Sudhanshu1414, shared the similarities between the model number of POCO F2 and POCO F1, Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro. The POCO F1 had model number M1805E10A while the K20 Pro and K30 Pro were spotted with model numbers M1903F11C and M2001J11C respectively. So, the EEC listing of upcoming POCO device with model number M2004J11C hints it will be the POCO F2.
POCO still hasn’t confirmed the name of its upcoming smartphone. Details regarding the device are also currently under wraps. POCO GM C. Manmohan had said that the POCO F2 won’t be priced anything like its predecessor, suggesting that it won’t be affordable as the F1. The POCO F1 had debuted as the cheapest smartphone with flagship specifications. The upcoming POCO offering is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 865 processor with support for 5G connectivity.
Apart from the smartphone, POCO is also working on truly wireless earbuds.
