Recently, POCO India GM C. Manmohan shot down rumours that the Redmi K30 Pro would be launched as the POCO F2 in the country. This was an obvious assumption, after the brand introduced the Redmi K30 as the POCO X2 (first impressions) in India. Recently, a Google Play Console listing revealed that while the handset might launch in some markets as POCO F2 Pro, that wouldn’t be the case for India.
Now, a new leak has tipped the estimated pricing and the variants of the POCO F2 Pro for European market. The latest leak comes from Portugal, where the pricing of smartphones is usually slightly higher than the rest of Europe. Here’s how much the upcoming POCO F2 Pro might cost.
POCO F2 Pro price and availability
The leak comes from 4GNews of Portugal, as the publication revealed the RAM and storage configurations along with their pricing. The base variant of the POCO F2 Pro will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. This model will retail for €649 (~Rs 53,600) in Portugal. The top-tier POCO F2 Pro will feature 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and will cost €749 (~Rs 62,000). Notably, in Portugal, the government levies a “private copy tax” which makes prices of smartphones slightly higher than the rest of Europe. It’s being speculated that the standard pricing of POCO F2 Pro in Europe will start from €599 (~Rs 49,500). There’s no word on the availability and launch timeline yet.
