POCO has already confirmed that the smartphone will be arriving with the Dimensity 1200. Hence, it appears that it will rival other Dimensity 1200-powered smartphones such as the Realme X7 Max 5G and the upcoming OnePlus Nord 2. Past reports have revealed that it will be a rebadged edition of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition phone that launched in April this year.

POCO F3 GT to launch in India soon

The POCO F3 GT’s latest teaser reminds POCO fans that its arrival is near since the third quarter has started. The teaser gives a glimpse of the front design of the smartphone. The teaser image of the F3 GT suggests that it may feature gaming trigger buttons just like the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition.

POCO F3 GT specifications and features (expected)

The POCO F3 GT is likely to arrive with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a center-aligned punch-hole cutout. The screen is expected to offer FHD+ resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. For selfies, it may feature a front 16-megapixel camera.

The rear camera setup of the POCO F3 GT may comprise a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The Redmi K40 Gaming Edition features RGB lighting around the camera module, but it’s unclear if the POCO F3 GT will also come with this design feature.

The Dimensity 1200-powered F3 GT may offer up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It may house a massive 5,065mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. For security, it may feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
