POCO F3 and POCO X3 Pro have been officially announced. The F3 is a rebranded version of the Redmi K40, which debuted in February in China. On the other hand, the POCO X3 Pro is an enhanced version of the POCO X3 (review) handset from last year.

The POCO F3 comes with a 120Hz display, Snapdragon 888 chipset, 48-megapixel triple cameras, and a big battery with fast charging capabilities. It is the successor to the POCO F1 flagship, which launched back in 2018. The X3 Pro is scheduled to go official in India through a dedicated launch event on March 30th.

The POCO F3 has a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED display with a top-centered selfie camera cutout. The screen offers Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 360Hz touch sampling rate, 1300 nits brightness, HDR10+, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It features a front-facing 20MP camera.

The rear-facing camera module has a Sony IMX582 48-megapixel primary camera with f/1.79 aperture, a 119-degree 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 5-megapixel macro camera with a 50mm focal length. For security, it is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Snapdragon 870 mobile platform powers the POCO F3 with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It comes with up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Its 4,520mAh battery supports 33W fast charging. It runs MIUI 12 based on Android 11. The phone offers connectivity features such as Liquid Cooling technology, dual-SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-frequency GPS, NFC, Hi-Res Audio, stereo speakers, IR blaster, X-linear motor, and USB Type-C.

The POCO X3 Pro is an enhanced version of last year’s POCO X3

The POCO X3 Pro has a 6.67-inch IPS LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It has a 20-megapixel camera for snapping selfies.

The X3 Pro has a Sony IMX582 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with 119-degree FOV, and a pair of 2-megapixel cameras for adding depth effects and macro images. A fingerprint scanner can be seen on the right edge of the smartphone.

The POCO X3 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 860 chipset. It comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a microSD card slot for expansion. The handset boots MIUI 12 based on Android 11. The X3 Pro has a 5,160mAh battery that comes with 33W fast charging support.

It has other specs such as Liquid Cooling technology, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Hi-Res Audio, stereo speakers, NFC, Z-axis linear motor, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

POCO F3 and POCO X3 Pro pricing and availability

The POCO F3 is priced at €349 (~Rs 30,100) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage edition and €399 (~Rs 34,400) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. Early-bird buyers can avail these models for €299 (~Rs 25,800) and €349 (~Rs 30,100), respectively. It can be bought in Night Black, Deep Ocean Blue, and Arctic White colours.

On the other hand, the POCO X3 Pro variants such as 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage have arrived with price tags such as €249 (~Rs 21,500) and €299 (~Rs 25,800), respectively. Early-bird buyers can avail both models for €199 (~Rs 17,200) and €249 (~Rs 21,500), respectively. It comes in colours like Phantom Black, Frost Blue, and Metal Bronze. The POCO X3 Pro is launching in India on March 30th.
