POCO F4 5G launch date will be confirmed soon. Earlier this week, the company started teasing the arrival of a new F-series phone in India. Today, the company released an official confirmation that it will be soon unveiling the F4 in India and global markets. Ahead of the launch, Root My Galaxy has leaked the live shots of the POCO F4 5G.
Rumours are rife that the POCO F4 5G will be a tweaked version of the Redmi K40S, which was announced in March this year. It is expected to offer key features like a 120Hz AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 8-series chip, and 64-megapixel triple rear cameras.

The live shots of the POCO F4 5G show that it has a triple camera unit along with an LED flash strip at the top-left corner. The camera setup is headlined by an OIS-enabled 64-megapixel camera. To recall, the Redmi K40S has an OIS-assisted 48-megapixel main lens as the primary camera.
The device seems to be fitted with a side-facing fingerprint scanner. It remains to be seen whether the POCO F4 5G is made available in other colours apart from green.

The POCO F4 5G will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that produces an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will arrive with a 20-megapixel front camera, and a 64-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit.
The F4 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 and a 4,250mAh battery, which will carry support for 67W fast charging. It will come with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device will offer other features such as Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 on top, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and an IP52 rated splash-resistant body.
POCO F4 5G price in India
At present, there is no information available on the price of POCO F4 5G. In China, the base variant of Redmi K40S, which offers 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, was announced with a price tag of RMB 1,999 (~Rs 23,200). Hence, it appears that the POCO F4 5G with an improved rear camera could be priced between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000 in India.
