POCO F5 and F5 Pro have received approval from the TUV Rheinland authority. These devices have appeared with respective model numbers of 23049PCD8G and 23013PC75G on the certification. The letter “G” at the end of these model numbers indicates that these are global versions of the F5 and F5 Pro.

Rumours are rife that the POCO F5 series will debut in the second quarter of this year. The India variants of the F5 and F5 Pro have 23049PCD8I and 23013PC75I model numbers. While the former has already appeared on the BIS certification site, the latter has been spotted in the IMEI database.

Rumours are rife that the POCO F5 will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which debuted recently in China. The POCO F5 Pro, on the other hand, may arrive as a rebadged version of the Redmi K60.

The POCO F5 is expected to arrive with a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 1 chipset, have up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The POCO F5 Pro is likely to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that offers a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, have up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The POCO F5 and F5 Pro will arrive with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The F5 duo’s rear camera setup features an OIS-enabled 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

Both devices will run on MIUI 14-based Android 13 OS. Both models will come with other common features, such as an under-display fingerprint scanner, a 5,500mAh battery, 67W fast charging, NFC, and 5G. The Pro model is expected to support 30W wireless charging.
