Last month, POCO’s Product Marketing Manager and Global Spokesperson hinted the arrival of a new smartphone. Today, POCO’s Global wing official confirmed that the new phone is the POCO M3 and it will be made official on November 24th.
The POCO M3 will be the third M-series phone from the brand after the POCO M2 and POCO M2 Pro that launched in India a few months ago. Except for the POCO X3, all the other POCO phones that launched this year have been rebranded versions of existing Xiaomi / Redmi phones. Reports have revealed that the POCO M3 is a rebadged version of an upcoming Redmi phone.

The POCO M3 will be made official through an online launch that will be live-streamed across its social channels at 8pm GMT+8 on November 24th. The launch poster has no information on the specs and features of the POCO M3.
Last month, a mysterious POCO phone with model number M2010J19CG was approved by authorities like Singapore’s IMDA and Russia’s EEC. The same device has been spotted by MySmartPrice on Geekbench with 4GB of RAM and Android 10. While the listing does not explicitly reveal the name of its processor, the Adreno 610 GPU found mentioned in the source code suggests that it is driven by the Snapdragon 662 mobile platform.
The M2010J19CG model number of the upcoming POCO phone is similar to a forthcoming Redmi phone (model numberM2010J19SC), which was recently certified on China’s TENAA authority. Since the exact moniker of this device is not known, the rumour mill has been referring to it as the Redmi 10 4G and Redmi Note 10 4G. Hence, it’s likely that this Redmi phone may be rebranded as the POCO M3 in global markets

The TENAA listing of the Redmi phone has revealed that it has a 6.53-inch IPS LCD punch-hole display that produces a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It has up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. For photography, it has an 8-megapixel selfie camera and a 48-megapixel triple rear camera system. The phone runs with Android 10 OS and is backed by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging.
Earlier this year, POCO claimed that it will be launching Poco Pop Buds TWS earbuds this year. It is unclear whether the company will be announcing it alongside the POCO M3.
