The POCO M3 Pro 5G launch event will be held at 8pm GMT+8 on May 19th. The global event will be live-streamed across its social channels such as YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.

The POCO M3 Pro 5G is an enhanced version of the POCO M3 budget phone, which was announced back in February this year. The M3 Pro will be the company’s M-series smartphone to arrive with 5G support. The company has also confirmed a few key features of the smartphone.

The launch poster released by the brand does not reveal any information on the specs of the POCO M3v Pro 5G. Recently, in an interview with Android Central, POCO executives confirmed that it will be an affordable 5G phone featuring a Dimensity chipset, a high refresh rate display, more amount of RAM, and faster internal storage.

Leaked renders of the POCO M3 Pro reveal that it will come with a unique camera module, three colour options and a punch-hole display.

FCC certification has suggested that the POCO M3 Pro 5G could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10 5G. Hence, the M3 Pro is expected to feature a 6.5-inch IPS LCD FHD+ panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, Dimensity 700 chipset, LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

The POCO M3 Pro 5G is likely to ship with MIUI 12 based on Android 11. It may feature a front 8-megapixel camera and its rear camera setup has a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. At present, there is no word on its pricing.
