- The POCO M3 Pro has bagged Indonesia Telecom certification
- The phone is expected to launch in Asian markets soon
- It is a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10 5G
The POCO M3 Pro has bagged certification from Indonesia Telecom, suggesting that the phone’s launch is imminent. The listing on the certification website only confirms the model number M2103K19PG, and doesn’t reveal the name of the smartphone. However, we already know that the same model number is associated with the POCO M3 Pro 5G, thanks to the listing on the IMEI database spotted last week.
The IMEI listing also revealed that the POCO M3 Pro 5G will be identical to the Redmi Note 10 5G, apart from differences in the design of the back panel. Since the POCO M3 Pro 5G has been spotted on both Indonesia Telecom and BIS certification sites, it’s safe to say that the device will be launching in Asian markets, including India soon. The Redmi Note 10 5G was launched in global markets last month.
POCO M3 Pro specifications and features (expected)
Since the POCO M3 Pro is a Redmi Note 10 5G rebrand, we can expect the specifications of both devices to be identical as well. As such, we expect the POCO M3 Pro to feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone should be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G SoC, which also powers the upcoming Realme 8 5G.
As for the cameras, the POCO M3 Pro could feature a 48MP primary sensor, backed by 2MP depth and 2MP macro sensors. In the front, it might sport an 8MP selfie snapper. It is expected to come with a 5,000mAh cell with 18W fast charging support. The phone might run MIUI 12 based on Android 11. We expect the phone to be priced below Rs 20,000 in India.
