- POCO has announced the launch date of its upcoming M4 Pro 5G smartphone
- It will arrive as the successor to the POCO M3 Pro 5G
- The upcoming offering is rumoured to be powered by a Dimensity 810 SoC
POCO M4 Pro 5G is set to launch globally on November 9th at 8pm GMT. The brand announced the launch date on its Twitter handle. The smartphone’s unveiling will be live streamed on POCO’s official YouTube channel as well as social media handles.
The POCO M4 Pro 5G will debut as the successor to the POCO M3 Pro 5G that was launched in May this year. POCO hasn’t revealed any key specifications about its upcoming smartphone. However, the tweet mentions that the M4 Pro 5G will be the last M-series device for this year.

POCO M4 Pro 5G specifications and features (expected)
Ahead of the launch event, the POCO M4 Pro 5G has been spotted on multiple certification websites in the past. The device is listed on EEC, IMEI, TENAA, 3C, BIS websites as well as Geekbench benchmarking platform. The upcoming offering features the model numbers 21091116AG, 21091116AC, and 20191116AI for global, Chinese, and Indian variants respectively.
As per TENAA, the POCO M4 Pro 5G is expected to feature a 6.6-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Reports suggest that the upcoming smartphone is tipped to be powered by a 5G compatible Dimensity 800 or 810U processor. The Geekbench listing also revealed 8GB RAM onboard and Android 11. The device will likely come with support for 33W fast charging. The upcoming POCO M4 Pro 5G is rumoured to be a rebranded version of the vanilla Redmi Note 11 that is launching later today in China.
We can expect the POCO M4 Pro 5G to come with upgrades over its predecessors. The smartphone is also slated to arrive in India soon after its global debut.
