POCO M4 Pro 5G launch date in India announced


  • POCO is set to launch its first smartphone of the year in India

POCO M4 Pro 5G launch date in India has been announced. It will debut in the country on February 15th. Since the last few days, the Xiaomi sub-brand has been teasing key features of the upcoming offering on its Twitter handle.

The POCO M4 Pro 5G will arrive as the successor to last year’s POCO M3 Pro 5G. Notably, the smartphone had also debuted globally in November last year. It remains to be seen whether the Indian variant will come with the same specifications as its global counterpart. 

The teasers shared by POCO reveal different aspects of the upcoming M4 Pro 5G. The device will come with a centre-aligned punch-hole display. There is a rectangular elongated camera module on the back panel and POCO branding towards its right side. The device is seen with dual-rear sensors paired with an LED flash. The POCO M4 Pro 5G is teased to be offered in three colours, i.e., Black, Yellow and Blue. 

POCO M4 Pro 5G specifications and features

The POCO M4 Pro 5G comes with a 6.6-inch display with an FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. A 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging fitted inside keeps the device running. 

The POCO M4 Pro 5G features a 16MP front-facing camera. On the back, the device comes with a dual-rear camera setup of a 50MP main and 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
