POCO M5s have surfaced on Geekbench. The name of the device hasn’t appeared on the benchmarking site. Recently, the M5s have emerged on the TDRA certification site with a 2207117BPG model number. The same device has now been benchmarked on Geekbench ahead of its launch, which will take place on September 5th, 2022.
The upcoming launch event will also see the arrival of the POCO M5. Reports have revealed that the M5s will not be released in India, whereas the M5 will be sold in India as well as global markets.

As can be seen in the listing, the POCO M5s is powered by the MediaTek MT6785V/CD chip, which is nothing but the Helio G95. The SoC is coupled with 6GB of RAM, and it runs on Android 12 OS. The device scored 502 points in the single-core test and 1804 points in the multi-core test of Geekbench 5.
The motherboard field in the listing mentions the ‘rosemary’ codename of the device. To recall, the same codename belongs to the Redmi Note 10S, which debuted last year. Hence, it appears that the POCO M5s could be a rebranded version of the POCO M5s.

POCO has already confirmed that the POCO M5s has an AMOLED display with a punch-hole display, a 64-megapixel main camera, stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an IR blaster. Shown above is a leaked render of the POCO M5s, which was recently shared by 91mobiles. It reveals that the device will be made available in grey, white, and blue colours.
Since the POCO M5s is expected to be a rebranded Redmi Note 10S, it may have a 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ display, a Helio G96 chipset, LPPDR4x RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. For photography, it may feature a 13-megapixel front camera and a 64-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (depth) + 2-megapixel (macro) quad-camera setup.
91moblies also revealed that the POCO M5s will come in two variants: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage. These models are likely to be priced at 209 euros (~Rs 16,700) and 249 euros (~Rs 19,900), respectively.
