POCO X2 specifications and features
POCO has teased that the POCO X2 will feature an “extreme refresh rate”, which promises to provide an “extreme gaming” experience. While the company hasn’t revealed the exact screen refresh rate of the device, it does mention that the handset will provide a seamless touch response, just like the other phones with a high refresh rate. We can expect the smartphone to feature a whopping screen refresh rate of 120Hz.
Design-wise, the teaser suggests that the POCO X2 will come with a liquid cooling system. This is expected to keep the heat down while providing extreme performance for graphics-intensive games. One of the images indicates that the handset will have a dual primary camera setup at the rear, which will be placed vertically in the middle. The teasers mention a 6×6 camera sensor, which is likely to be Sony’s new IMX 686, which can capture images in up to 64MP resolution. Below the camera module, there could be a fingerprint sensor. The bottom edge of the smartphone can be seen featuring a speaker grille, a microphone, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone socket.
The teasers also suggest that the POCO X2 will be powered by one of the Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, possibly one of the recently introduced Snapdragon chipsets. The smartphone’s battery will be capable of support fast charging, suggest the teasers.
So far, the company has only teased these details about the upcoming POCO offering. We will have official details at the event next week, so stay tuned for regular updates.
