- POCO X3 GT will not launch in India
- The confirmation comes from POCO India Country Director, Anuj Sharma
- The device was recently announced for global markets
POCO X3 GT will not launch in India, POCO India Country Head, Anuj Sharma has confirmed. The device is a rebranded Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G for global markets. Soon after the launch, Sharma took to Twitter to confirm that the new device will not come to India. According to Sharma, the India lineup already has two solid contenders and there’s no need for yet another offering to confuse buyers.
Notably, the POCO X3 GT was launched recently in South-East Asian markets like the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore, among others. Considering the fact that the POCO X3 GT is a stripped-down version of the F3 GT, it makes sense to not launch ut here. Here’s what Sharma said in his tweet and the reason behind the decision.
POCO F3 GT will not launch in India
So while we do have big plans for the future, the Poco X3 GT is not part of them.
Right now, as a team, we want to avoid any confusion in the portfolio for our consumers. Unlike… 😉

The POCO X3 GT shares most of its specs with the existing POCO X3 Pro, except for the 5G-enabled Dimensity 1100 SoC, 64MP triple rear cameras, and faster charging. According to Sharma, with the POCO X3 Pro (review) under Rs 20,000 and POCO F3 GT under Rs 30,000, there’s no place for the POCO X3 GT in their lineup in India. According to Sharma, while POCO has “big plans for the future, but the POCO X3 GT is not part of them.” Moreover, the tweet ended with Sharma taking a dig at another brand for causing confusion in its lineup, presumably Realme.
