The POCO X3 GT will be launching in global markets on July 28th. Facebook Malaysia has now confirmed that it will be driven by the Dimensity 1100 chipset, which is the next best MediaTek chip after the Dimensity 1200. At the same time, 91mobiles has shared the leaked renders of the smartphone to reveal its design.
The new developments corroborate on previous reports that the X3 GT will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G, which debuted in China few months back. The X3 GT is expected to arrive with other features like a 120Hz display, up to 12GB of RAM, 64-megapixel triple cameras, and a massive battery.
POCO X3 GT leaked renders
The leaked renders show that the POCO X3 GT’s display has a centrally aligned punch-hole cutout. The back panel of the phone features a triple camera unit with an LED flash. Its right side features a volume rocker and a power button, which is embedded with a fingerprint sensor. The handset can be seen in three colours such as black, green, and white.
POCO X3 GT specifications (rumoured)
The POCO X3 GT is expected to flaunt a 6.6-inch IPS LCD FHD+ panel that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely to come equipped with the latest Gorilla Glass Victus protection for the display. The Dimensity 1100 powered device may come with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It may come preinstalled with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 OS.
The X3 GT has a front camera of 16-megapixel, and it is expected to feature a 64-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) +2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit. The device may house a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
POCO X3 GT pricing (expected)
There is no word on the pricing of the POCO X3 GT. In China, the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G is available with a starting price of RMB 1,499 (~$231; ~Rs 17,200). Probably, the X3 GT may arrive with similar pricing in global markets. At present, there is no information available on its arrival in India.
