POCO X3 with Snapdragon 732G launching in India on September 22nd

POCO recently launched the POCO X3 NFC globally as the world’s smartphone to feature the Snapdragon 732G chipset. Now, the brand has confirmed the launch of the POCO X3 in India through its official Twitter handle. The smartphone will be launched on September 22nd in the country.

The company has announced that the smartphone will be available on Flipkart and now has dedicated landing page for the device on its website as well. Currently, the page only reveals the processor of the upcoming device and nothing else. Thanks to the global launch earlier this month, we know the specifications of the upcoming smartphone.

POCO X3 specifications and features

The POCO X3 features a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen with full HD+ resolution. The display offers a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Ticking at the core of the device is the Snapdragon 732G backed by an Adreno 618 GPU and Snapdragon Elite Gaming features. Globally, the smartphone is being offered with 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. It remains to be seen if the configurations remain the same in India.

The POCO X3 features a quad-camera setup on the back comprising a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. In the front, the phone has a 20-megapixel selfie shooter.

The POCO X3 boots MIUI 12 based on Android 10 with the POCO Launcher, and is powered by a 5,160mAh battery with 33W fast charging. Other features include IR blaster, side-mounted fingerprint reader, USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack.

POCO X3 price in India

A few days ago, POCO India GM C. Manmohan teased the arrival of the POCO X3 in India through a tweet. In the same tweet, Manmohan suggested that the POCO X3 price in India could be around Rs 20,000 plus taxes. Notably, the smartphone is priced at €229 (~Rs 19,900) and €260 (~Rs 23,400), for 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variants in European markets.
