Yesterday, the POCO X3 NFC was made official through a global launch event. The smartphone is now up for purchase in global markets. Early rumours had claimed that the handset will also debut in India. Soon after the launch event, POCO India General Manager C Manmohan took to his Twitter handle to tease the India launch of the smartphone.

The POCO X3 NFC has arrived as the successor for the POCO X2 that went official in India earlier this year. The POCO X3 features a 120Hz display, Snapdragon 732G processor, 64-megapixel quad cameras and a large battery with 33W fast charging support.

The POCO X3’s exact price in India is not known yet. However, Manmohan’s tweet suggests that it would cost around Rs 20,000 plus taxes. In Europe, the POCO X3 NFC is priced at €229 (~Rs 19,900) and €260 (~Rs 23,400), for 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variants. During the early-bird sales that will be carried until September 11th, both variants will be available with reduced price tags of €199 (~Rs 17,300) and €249 (~Rs 21,600). The handset comes in colour options such as Shadow Gray and Cobalt Blue.
POCO X3 specifications and features
The POCO X3 is equipped with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen with full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The Snapdragon 732G fuels the phone, along with 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. It is powered by a 5,160mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
The phone runs MIUI 12 based on Android 10, along with the POCO Launcher. For an enhanced gaming experience, the phone comes with a Z-axis linear motor, dual stereo speakers, and liquid cooling technology.
It features a 20-megapixel selfie camera. At the rear, there’s a quad camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Other features include a splash-resistant chassis, IR blaster, side-mounted fingerprint reader, USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack.
