POCO X3 Pro is now receiving MIUI 12.5 update. The news was shared by POCO India Director Anuj Sharma on Twitter. The latest software update is currently rolling out to a limited number of users in India. If no issues are found in the OS version, a global release will happen soon.
The POCO X3 Pro debuted in March this year and shipped with MIUI 12 based on Android 11. The smartphone is an upgraded version of last year’s POCO X3.

The new MIUI update on the POCO X3 Pro carries version number 18.104.22.168.RJUINXM. The file size weighs 830MB and the update also includes June security patches. If no serious bugs or issues are found in the limited release, a wider rollout of the update will happen soon.
As per the changelog, MIUI 12.5 brings faster performance, bug fixes, and refreshed UI animations. There is also an updated Notes app with features like gesture shortcuts, dynamic layouts, and new tools for doodling.
POCO X3 Pro specifications and features
The POCO X3 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch punch-hole LCD display with FHD+ resolution, HDR10 support, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is equipped with a circular rear camera module housing 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP depth, and 2MP macro unit. Upfront, there is a 20MP selfie snapper. The device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Internally, the POCO X3 Pro houses a Snapdragon 860 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. There is a liquid cooling technology onboard. The smartphone is powered by a 5.160mAh battery unit with support for 33W fast charging.
