- POCO X4 Pro is expected to launch soon in India and global markets
- Its hands-on images and specifications have surfaced before launch
- It has a 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 695, and 108MP/64MP triple cameras
POCO X4 Pro 5G launch seems imminent. The reason behind is that German publication Smartdroid.de recently published the hands-on images and key specifications of the unannounced device. While the publication has taken down the post, the images and details that it posted are widely being circulated on social media and other publications.
The POCO X4 Pro will be succeeding the Snapdragon 860 powered POCO X3 Pro from last year. The X4 Pro is expected to offer key specs such as a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 5G-ready Snapdragon 6-series chip, and 108-megapixel / 64-megapixel triple cameras.
POCO X4 Pro hands-on images, design
The POCO X4 Pro has a punch-hole AMOLED display on the front and a large-size camera module that houses an LED flash assisted triple camera unit on the left. Its right edge has the POCO branding and the ‘108MP AI triple camera’ text.
The top edge of the POCO X4 Pro has a microphone, a speaker, and IR blaster. Its bottom could be featuring a 3.5mm headphone jack, another microphone, a USB Type-C port, and another speaker grille for stereo output. The right spine of the device has a volume rocker and a power key integrated with a fingerprint sensor. A SIIM card slot seems to be present on the left side of the X4 Pro.
POCO X4 Pro specifications (rumoured)
The POCO X4 Pro will sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 695 powered handset will come with 6GB / 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB / 128GB / 256GB (global only) of UFS 2.2 storage.
According to Xiaomiui, the POCO X4 Pro 5G’s global edition will feature a 108-megapixel main camera, whereas the variant heading to India will have a 64-megapixel primary camera. The main camera will be assisted by an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies, it will feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.
The Android 11 OS with the latest MIUI 13 skin will come preinstalled on the device. It will house a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. These specs show that the POCO X4 Pro will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, which launched in the global markets recently.
POCO X4 Pro launch date
POCO is yet to confirm the launch date of the POCO X4 Pro. However, with the design and specifications already revealed, it appears that it may go official in the next few days. It is unclear whether the company will be launching the vanilla POCO X4 alongside the Pro model.
