POCO X4 Pro and M4 Pro will be unveiled on February 28th, 2022. POCO has confirmed that it will be hosting a launch event at the forthcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022 tech exhibition to announce these smartphones. It is unclear whether the company will be unveiling any other products at the MWC event.

The POCO X4 Pro will be arriving as the successor for the Snapdragon 860 powered POCO X3 Pro from last year. The brand has already launched the POCO M4 Pro 5G in global markets and India in the recent past. Hence, it is unclear whether the M4 Pro that will be showcased at MWC 2022 will be the existing 5G model or the rumoured 4G LTE variant.

For the first time, Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO will be present at MWC to announce new products. The event that will take place at 20:00 GMT+8 on February 28th will be livestreamed through its social media channels such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and official website.

POCO X4 Pro 5G specifications (rumoured)

Recent reports have revealed that the POCO X4 Pro 5G will be debuting as a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G’s global edition. As can be seen in the leaked renders shared by reliable tipster Evan Blass, the X4 Pro will be sporting a different rear design as compared to the Redmi phone.

The POCO X4 Pro will arrive with a 6.67-inch S-AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and a 108-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit. The global edition of the X4 Pro will feature a 108-megapixel primary lens, while its Indian variant will be equipped with a 64-megapixel camera. The Snapdragon 695 chipset powered handset will feature 6GB / 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 64GB / 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging, a side-facing fingerprint scanner, and Android 11 OS with MIUI 13 on top.

POCO M4 Pro specifications (expected)

The POCO M4 Pro 4G is rumoured to be a rebranded or tweaked version of the Redmi Note 11S. Hence, it is expected to come with specs like a 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ 90Hz display, a 16-megapixel front camera, a 108-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (depth) +2-megapixel (macro) quad-camera unit, Helio G96 chipset, 6GB / 8GB of RAM, 64GB / 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and Android 11 overlaid with MIUI 13.

To recall, its 5G variant offered specs such as a 6.6-inch IPS LCD FHD+ 90Hz screen, a 16-megapixel selfie snapper, 50-megapixel dual cameras, Dimensity 810 chipset, up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. Announced last week in India, the handset is available for purchase in the country through Flipkart with a starting price of Rs 14,999.
