  • It could be priced under Rs 20,000
  • It will have a 120Hz AMOLED display and Snapdragon 695 chip

POCO X5 5G India launch will happen next week, claims a new report by 91mobiles. It was only yesterday that Poco India country head, Himanshu Tandon said that the company is evaluating releasing the X5 in India. Now, in a new tweet, he said that the POCO X5 5G will be launching soon. Hence, it appears that it will indeed debut next week in India.

Last month, the company launched the POCO X5 5G and POCO X5 Pro 5G in the global market. However, only the POCO X5 Pro was made available in India. The X5 is quite similar to the Redmi Note 12 5G, which debuted in January this year. While the Redmi phone has the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1, the POCO model has the Snapdragon 695 onboard. Being a POCO device, the X5 will sport a different design that will be similar to the X5 Pro. The rest of the specs for the X5 are identical to those of the Note 12 5G.
