POCO X5 5G and POCO X5 Pro 5G key details have been leaked by reliable tipster Kacper Skrzypek. In October, Xiaomi’s sub-brand announced the Redmi Note 12 5G along with other Note 12 series models. Since then, several reports have claimed that the Note 12 5G will be rebranded as the POCO X5 5G in markets outside of China. The confusion increased when reports revealed that the same Redmi Note 12 5G would also be heading to global markets, including India.
Skrzypek has cleared up the confusion, claiming that the POCO X5 5G will feature the Snapdragon 695 chipset. His tweet suggests that other than featuring a different chip, the rest of the specifications will be identical to Note 12 5G’s global version and the POCO X5 5G. He added that the POCO X5 Pro 5G would be a rebadged edition of the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition, which launched the previous week in China. Here is a look at the expected specifications of the POCO X5 and X5 Pro.
