POCO X5’s Geekbench listing has appeared. There have been reports that it will be similar to the Redmi Note 12 5G. While the Redmi phone has the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chip onboard, the POCO phone is expected to feature a Snapdragon 6-series chip. The Geekbench listing that has appeared today has also confirmed that it will feature a different chipset.
Reports have revealed that the X5 lineup will include two models, the POCO X5 and X5 Pro. Speculations are rife that the POCO X5 duo will debut in the first week of February. Continue to read ahead to learn what to expect from the X5.
POCO X5 Geekbench listing
The POCO X5’s global edition with model number 22111317PG has surfaced on Geekbench. It scored 693 in the single-core test and 2113 in the multi-core test. The listing reveals that the device is powered by the Snapdragon 695 chipset and 8GB of RAM. It will come preloaded with Android 12 OS.
POCO X5 specifications (rumoured)
As mentioned above, apart from featuring a different chip, the POCO X5 may have the same specs as the Redmi Note 12 5G. Being a POCO device, it is likely to sport a better rear design.
The POCO X5 is likely to arrive with a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. It could have a 13-megapixel front camera and a triple camera unit with 48-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro).
The Snapdragon 695 chip may power the POCO X5 with 6GB / 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It may have a shared SIM slot for additional storage. The X5 may pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. For security, it will feature a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
