POCO X5 Pro 5G’s real-life images and key specifications have been leaked. POCO is yet to confirm the arrival of the POCO X5 series. However, recent reports have claimed that the POCO X5 and X5 Pro may debut as early as by the end of this month in the global market as well as India.
At the beginning of this month, Redmi unveiled the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition in China. The device is currently only available on the home market. The device is expected to be rebranded as the POCO X5 Pro 5G, according to rumours. Here is a look at all the details that have surfaced through the X5 Pro’s latest leak.
POCO X5 Pro 5G design
The live images of the POCO X5 Pro 5G show that it will have a punch-hole display on the front, and on the back, it has a triple camera unit and an LED flash. It is clear whether the device will be available in other colours apart from the yellow variant seen in the leak. The other images shared by the tipster show that the device will come in a black-coloured retail box.
POCO X5 Pro 5G specifications (rumoured)
The plastic film placed on top of the POCO X5 Pro’s display lists some of its key features. It has an FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 778G chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W rapid charging support. It has a 108-megapixel primary camera, dual stereo speakers, and NFC connectivity. One of the retail box images reveals that the X5 Pro is equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Other reports have revealed that it has a 16-megapixel front camera, a 108-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) +2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner. It will come preloaded with the MIUI 13-based Android 13 OS.
In related news, the POCO X5 5G is said to be a tweaked version of the Redmi Note 12 5G. The POCO model is likely to feature the Snapdragon 695 instead of the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1, which powers the Redmi device. The rest of the specs could be identical on both phones. A recent report carried the leaked renders of the POCO Pods. The TWS earbuds are expected to launch alongside the POCO X5 series.
