Notably, when PUBG Corporation announced the Indian version of PUBG Mobile, it also announced that the company will be hosting India-exclusive esports events and invest heavily in the Indian esports industry. The new development seems to be in line with what the company had planned for the comeback. The information comes from a professional PUBG Mobile gamer, who goes by GHATAK.

PUBG Mobile India will host an esports tournament with Rs 6 crore prize

The information about the Rs 6 crore prize money for the first esports tournament by PUBG Mobile India comes from Abhijit Andhare, popularly known as GHATAK. He is the coach of the professional Indian PUBG Mobile team called TSM Entity. The team has won tournaments like PUBG Mobile India Series 2020 and PUBG Mobile Club Open – Fall Split: South Asia, among others

Apart from the prize money, Andhare also revealed that PUBG Mobile will also increase the payout of professional PUBG Mobile India players once the game is launched in the country.
