Since its release, PUBG New State has been a centre of attention for gamers. So much so that battle royale hackers have already infiltrated the game in the first month of its release. Soon after the official launch, players have been implementing unauthorized hacks and scripts to manipulate the gameplay, and as always, another battle royale game has been infected with hackers again. Krafton is working towards reducing and banning the accounts guilty of using hacks, and it is rolling out a new anti-cheat measure for Android. The iOS update will be released soon.

Krafton publicly announced a maintenance time for November 23rd from 11:00 – 14:00 (UTC) to enhance anti-cheat measures for Android devices. The South Korean game developer stated that to avoid cheating, Krafton is working hard with stricter anti-cheat measures that recognise unauthorised programs and block them in real-time. Though the new anti-cheat measure is available for Android users right now, Krafton is yet to share the release date for iOS.

Cheating is a big issue in mobile battle royale games. As we’ve previously seen with games like Battlegrounds Mobile India, PUBG: Mobile, and PUBG: Mobile Lite, the hackers use different third-party programs and often create multiple accounts to participate in the game. Through this new update, PUBG New State players can finally play the game as it was supposed to be played, and with a stricter anti-cheat system, the developer is aiming to make this next-gen battle royale game safe for everyone.

As a part of the new update, Krafton has also announced special compensation for all the players. After updating the game to the latest version, players will be rewarded with free 3x Chicken Medals. Additionally, the developer has opened the redeem codes site where players can redeem their promotional codes to get skins, apparel, and cosmetics for free. You can click here to visit the redemption website link.
