PUBG New State Patch Notes: weapon update and customisation
The December 9 patch note will bring in a lot of weapon adjustments, new customisation and much more. Here is a quick look at what you’ll be getting with the upcoming update.
New weapon: L85A3
The L85A3 is the newest assault rifle in the game, which offers low recoil and uses 5.56mm rounds. This gun is available in maps such as the Erangel and Troi, and players can even customise it using the new customisation tab. L85A3 can be customised with a new all-in-one vertical foregrip and bipod inside the game. Here are some of the pros and cons of using L85A3 customisation.
- Reduces vertical recoil of the L85A3
- Easier recoil control
- Slightly reduces ADS speed
- The attachment cannot be swapped out for another grip.
Gun customisation: M416 and SLR
The December update brings in the new customisation tab that allows players to customise their weapons. Though not all the weapons are customisable, here are some of the weapons you can customise in PUBG New State with the upcoming update.
Players can now customise the M416 assault rifle and increase its damage by a significant portion. However, the customisation can have some negative effects on the gun as well. Here are the pros and cons of M416 customisation.
- Increases damage
- Increases vertical recoil
- The new customisation will disable the M416’s muzzle slot
- The customisation for M416 is available once every match
SLR, which is a DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle), in PUBG, and BGMI is getting an uplift as well. Players can now swap out SLR’s 7.62mm barrel for a 5.56mm barrel. Here are the pros and cons of customisation.
Increases firing accuracy
Decreased damage compared to the 7.62mm barrel
The SLR can only be customised once per match
PUBG New State: new vehicles
As part of the upcoming update, PUBG New State will now feature two new vehicles – Electron and Mesta. This is the first time PUBG New State has introduced a 6-seater vehicle in the game. The Electron supports up to 6 people and offers better durability than other vehicles. On the other hand, Mesta is a classic 2-seater car that supports high speeds and comes in two models – standard and open.
