Realme 10 Pro+ with Dimensity 1080 bags BIS certification, launch seems imminent

Realme 10 Pro+ 5G India launch seems imminent since it has bagged certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The listing reveals that the device has an RMX3686 model number. Apart from BIS, the handset has also been certified by other certification platforms like TDRA, NBTC in Thailand, EEC in Europe, and TKDN in Indonesia.

The Realme 10 Pro+ 5G will arrive as the successor to the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G, which debuted in February this year. The predecessor model was powered by the Dimensity 920. It is speculated that the device will be equipped with the latest Dimensity chip.

Realme CEO Madhav Sheth took to Twitter recently to confirm that the brand will be soon launching a phone powered by the Dimensity 1080 chip in India. To those who are unaware, the D1080 chip is a successor to the Dimensity 920.

According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G will come equipped with the Dimensity 1080 chipset. Unfortunately, there is no information on the other specs of the device yet. Tipster Mukul Sharma has claimed that the company has started the serial production of the Realme 10 Pro+ as well as other Realme 10-series of smartphones in several European and Asian countries. With multiple certifications in tow, it may break cover by the end of this month or in November in different markets.

Realme 10 series to include five devices

Sharma has revealed that the Realme 10 series includes at least five models, such as Realme 10 4G, Realme 10 5G, Realme 10 Pro, Realme 10 Pro+ 5G, and Realme 10i. The Realme 10 4G has already bagged multiple certifications and is expected to debut soon. It is expected to arrive with specifications, such as the Helio G99 chipset, 8GB of RAM, Android 12 OS, a dual-camera setup, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging.
