Last month, Realme had launched the Realme 3 smartphone in India. The company had confirmed during the event that it will be launching the more powerful Realme 3 Pro smartphone in April. A recent teaser from the company had revealed that it will be celebrating its first anniversary with the upcoming Realme 3 Pro phone. Now, the brand has officially confirmed that the smartphone will be launching in India on April 22nd.

Realme 3 Pro Specifications (Rumoured)

The Realme 3 Pro launch event will be held at 12:30pm on April 22. Leaked information that has surfaced so far has revealed that it will be arriving with a 6.3-inch display with a waterdrop notch. Unlike the Realme 3 that features HD+ resolution, the Pro model’s display will be equipped with full HD+ resolution.

The Realme 3 Pro is expected to arrive as a worthy rival for the Snapdragon 675 powered Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone. It is speculated that the Snapdragon 710 SoC will be fueling the device. The Snapdragon 710 delivers better graphics performance than SD675. The smartphone could feature a 4,000mAh battery. It is expected to carry support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging.

For photography, the Realme 3 Pro is rumored to house a 25-megapixel selfie shooter and a dual camera setup with a Sony IMX519 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The Sony IMX519 is the same primary sensor found on the OnePlus 6T. The rumour mill has revealed that it will be coming in three variants: 4GB RAM + 32GB storage, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, like its predecessor, the Realme 2 Pro. There is no information available on the price tags of the aforementioned Realme 3 Pro variants.

The Realme 3 Pro will be arriving to replace the Realme 2 Pro phone from last year. It features a 6.3-inch IPS LCD full HD+ display, Snapdragon 660 SoC, 3,500mAh battery, 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera and 16-megapixel front camera.
