The Realme 3i was recently listed on a microsite on Flipkart and was touted as the ‘Real Champion’ by the brand. Now, another mobile microsite has gone live for the upcoming phone, which invites participation in the Realme 3i challenge. The new contest page reveals several key details of the next Realme smartphone. Notably, the Realme 3i launch in India has been scheduled on July 15th alongside the Realme X . Unfortunately, the new microsite also doesn’t reveal much about the upcoming smartphone except for the official render and a hint towards the possible processor as well as the battery.
The new contest microsite reveals the Realme 3i in two gradient hues oncluding a blue and pink colourway. We can also see the signaure Diamond-cut design on the rear panel of the smartphone, which makes Realme tout the phone as the “Style Champion”. One of the questions asked in the contest is, “What makes the best power-packed champion in smartphones?” The first option for answers is, “Massive 4,230mAh battery with MediaTek Helio P60 processor.” Therefore, it’s safe to assume that the Realme 3i will feature the 12nm octa-core processor featuring multi-core AI processing unit (mobile APU) and supports NeuroPilot AI technology. Unfortunately, the microsite doesn’t reveal anything else about the upcoming phone.
However, the Realme 3i has recently been spotted on the popular benchmarking website, Geekbench. The listing confirms the presence of Helio P60 SoC and few more details. Notably, the processor will ve mated to 4GB RAM but we can expect more than one RAM variants of the handset at the time of launch. The listing also confirms that the budget smartphone will booth the last generation Android 9 Pie out of the box. As for the benchmarking scores, the Realme 3i managed to snag 1,420 points in the single-core test and 5,070 points in the multi-core test.
It’s being speculated that Realme will position the 3i in between Realme C2 and Realme 3 in India. We will know more when the smartphone goes official next week.
