Recently, a couple of certifications suggested that Realme is working on a new smartphone called the Realme 5s. The phone is said to be launching soon in India and Thailand. Apart from the Realme 5s, the company is reportedly also working on yet another handset called the Realme 6. Ahead of an official announcement, the upcoming Realme 6’s alleged retail box has been leaked on the interwebs. The phone is expected to arrive as the successor to the Realme 5 series in India. The retail box of the Realme 6 has revealed a few details regarding the camera features, as well as the processor of the smartphone.
Realme 6 specifications and features
If the Realme 6’s retail box is real, the smartphone will come with a Penta camera setup at the back. It will be the first smartphone from the company to feature five rear cameras. Unfortunately, the retail box hasn’t revealed the exact camera specifications of the Realme 6. As for the chipset, the box suggests that the Realme 6 could feature Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 710 processor. The box has Realme 6 branding in large letters, but there are no other details regarding the phone’s specs are mentioned on the box.
As of now, there’s no word Realme is planning to release the Realme 6 anytime soon. In the meantime, the brand is all set to launch the Realme X2 Pro in the Indian market on November 20th. It will arrive as the most expensive Realme smartphone in the country. The handset is a flagship offering with a Snapdragon 855+ chipset and a quad primary camera setup at the rear.
Realme X2 Pro specifications and features
The Realme X2 Pro has a 6.55-inch full HD+ Fluid AMOLED display bearing HDR10+ support and a screen refresh rate of 90Hz. The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor, a waterdrop notch above the screen, and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The Snapdragon 855+ SoC onboard the device is accompanied by up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of native storage. Software-wise, the phone boots ColorOS based on Android 9 Pie.
As for the camera specs, the Realme X2 Pro offers a 64MP primary camera at the back. The main sensor is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 115-degree field of view, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 13MP telephoto lens. The handset is capable of offering 20x hybrid and 5x optical zoom. For selfies and video-calling, the device has a 16MP sensor on the front. A 4,000mAh battery with 50W fast-charging support keeps the whole package running.
Realme X2 Pro price in India
