Realme 6i Geekbench listing reveals Helio G70 processor

Last week, Realme India took the covers off the Realme 6 (review) and Realme 6 Pro smartphones. Reports surrounding the Realme 6 series have revealed that the lineup also includes an upcoming, budget-friendly phone called the Realme 6i. The handset that bears the model number RMX2050 had appeared on the database of Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US earlier this year. The FCC listing carried the images and key details of the phone. Now, the upcoming Realme 6i has paid a visit to Geekbench through which some of its key details have been revealed.

Realme 6i Geekbench listing

The Geekbench 5 listing of the Realme 6i (RMX2040) reveals that it would be powered by MediaTek Helio G70 chipset that has a base frequency of 1.80GHz. The Chinese manufacturer had recently launched the Realme C3 smartphone with the same SoC in February. The Geekbench listing further reveals that the RMX2040 handset would come with 4GB of RAM.

The Android 10 OS that will come preloaded on the Realme 6i could be overlaid with the latest version of the Realme UI. In the single-core test of Geekbench 5, the Realme 6i scored 345. It recorded a score of 1293 in the multi-core test of the benchmarking app.

The FCC documents of the Realme 6i had revealed that it is equipped with a massive battery of 5,000mAh capacity. The battery could be charged with an 18W fast charger.

The images of the phone that were spotted on FCC revealed that it has a display with a waterdrop notch. The rear of the phone features a quad camera system with a 48-megapixel main sensor and a fingerprint sensor. The handset is equipped with a USB-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The other details of the Realme 6i smartphone are currently under wraps. Realme is yet to confirm about the launch of the smartphone. The Geekbench listing of the Realme 6i suggests that the Chinese firm could be testing its performance before making it official.

In related news, a Realme phone, with model number RMX2063 that was approved by FCC earlier this year has also appeared on Geekbench. The recently-launched Realme 6 Pro has the model number of Realme 6 Pro (review). Hence, it appears that RMX2063 could be the model number of a country-specific variant of the Realme 6 Pro. The Geekbench 5 listing revealed that the Realme RMX2063 has a Snapdragon 720G processor (mentioned with “atoll” codename), 8GB of RAM and Android 10 OS.
