Realme had launched the Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A in May this year. The former is a rebranded Realme 6i for the Indian market, which was launched in Myanmar in March. Now, if a report by OnPhones is to be believed, Realme will launch the 6i in India as well. However, since the phone has already launched in the form of Narzo 10, the new Realme 6i will be a rebranded variant of yet another smartphone.
According to the latest report, the Realme 6s that was launched in Europe in May will find its way to India rebadged as the Realme 6i. The source has also posted a retail store poster revealing that launch is expected soon. To recall, the Realme 6s features Helio G90T gaming processor, 90Hz display and 48-megapixel quad cameras as its highlights.
Realme 6i specifications and features
Since the Indian variant of Realme 6i is expected to be the rebranded Realme 6s, we can safely assume that the spec sheet will remain the same. The smartphone will ship with a 6.5-inch 90Hz LCD panel with full HD + resolution and punch-hole cutout. Handling the performance will be the gaming-centric 12nm MediaTek Helio G90T processor, accompanied by 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB expandable storage.
Coming to the software, the phone will boot Realme UI based on Android 10. Powering the device is a 4,300mAh battery, which features support for 30W fast charging. On the connectivity front, the Realme 6i will get Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, dual SIM, USB Type C, 3.5mm headphone port, NFC and FM radio.
In the optics department, the Realme 6i will get a quad-camera setup on the back comprising a 48-megapixel primary lens accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel portrait sensor and a 2-megapixel macro lens. As for the punch-hole cutout on the front, it houses a 16-megapixel snapper for selfies.
Realme 6i price in India
The OnPhones report sites the store executive to claim that the Realme 6i will be launched in India as early as next week. The price of the smartphone is expected to be under Rs 15,000.
